How to Use Ghee at Home
Ghee is clarified butter. That means butter has been melted, toasted, and all of the milk solids and whey have been removed. It is “free from lactose”.
Golden Ghee can be used just like butter (hot, cold, or room temp). And it can be used as you would use oil to sauté or cook with.
BREAKFAST IDEAS
Spread room temp Golden Ghee on your toast, muffin, or bagel
Stir a spoonful into warm oatmeal for a rich flavor.
Heat some up in a pan and cook your eggs to order.
Blend some into your morning coffee for a “Butter Coffee”. Here’s a recipe for Bulletproof coffee. It’s a dairy-free way to start your day with healthy fats.
Top o’ the morning to ya! with Golden Ghee in your Bulletproof coffee
LUNCH & DINNER IDEAS
Stir-fry your veggies in Golden Ghee. Ghee has a high “smoke point” and won’t burn like regular butter.
Put a dollop of Golden Ghee on a warm baked potato or sweet potato.
“It’s corn!” - nothing says summer like hot corn on the cob smothered in Golden Ghee. Or kick it up elote style (Mexican Street corn).
Butter Noodles - Yummy for the whole family
Butter Crust Steak - made with Golden Ghee, salt, and parsley
Cracklin’ Chicken - a favorite recipe from Nom Nom Paleo. Simple & tasty!
